All of our staff are certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. They are first aid and CPR trained. They have several years of experience working with children and families. Most of all they have a love for teaching young children.
Carol Mancini is the Director and the Lead Teacher for the five-day class.
Carol is Lead Teacher certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. Carol brings to the Jack and Jill Preschool Program a bachelor’s degree in education and is also teacher certified K-3 in the public school system. Carol is very experienced and has been a teacher for 30+ years both in child enrichment programs and the public-school setting. Carol has worked at Jack and Jill since 2013 and brought with her over 15 years of experience in childcare. Carol took five years off from teaching to be a stay-at-home mom to her daughter. She returned to work as a public-school substitute teacher when her daughter entered kindergarten. Carol believes that each child is unique and learns at their own pace and in their own way. She also believes that the foundation for positive learning begins in preschool and by making learning fun you create an environment in which children want to learn. In her spare time carol enjoys spending time with her family exploring all aspects of nature! she enjoys science and technology and photography and loves baking.
